Neovascular Age-related Macular Degeneration (nAMD) is one of the major factors for blindness and impaired visual acuity in elderly people. The aim this study was CFH gene screening Age-Related patients Indonesia. This performed 106 AMD 104 controls genomic markers Complement Factor H ( ). diagnosis carried out by retinal specialists based on color fundus photography optical coherence tomography. Informed consent given to then proceed blood sampling recording body parameters (BMI, smoking, other systemic diseases). polymorphisms were analyzed PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP). There no association between genetics with nAMD. From research can be inferred that nAMD insignificant.
